What to Expect

Evaluation

Our home care engagements start with understanding your unique needs. The first step is consulting with you on your specific situation. We partner with you to create a care plan, contract and payment setup (whether CHC Waiver, Long term insurance and private pay).

Notification

Once we have selected your COMPASSION-giver, we will confirm the start date with you.
We will work with you to schedule on-site training ahead of the start date so your only care provider understands the patient’s needs, while focusing on specialized equipment.

Scheduling

We will work with you to schedule on-site training ahead of the start date so your caregiver understands the patient’s needs, schedule and specialized equipment. Additionally, we are committed to your scheduled care. We have backup resources to make sure all shifts we confirm are covered.

Partnership

After your caregiver has been placed, we will stay in close contact to monitor the quality of care. We foster an environment of open communication. Although we check in regularly with you, we also encourage you to contact us at any time with questions, concerns, feedback or requests for support.

Training/Evaluation

Through our family consultation, we identify the proficiencies required and diagnose skills gaps. Family caregivers participate in our comprehensive training program and receive personalized support to improve their skills. The scope of our partnership with families includes the care plan, training, direct care worker support and escort the clients. We handle contracting and payment setup (including Medicaid (CHC Waiver Program),private insurance and direct pay).
